Kourosh qualified from Glasgow University in 1989 and worked in mixed practice in his home county Derbyshire, then Gloucester.
Special interests in diagnostic imaging and small animal surgery meant a move to sole small animal, working for both the PDSA and private small animal practice in London.
He moved to the Northeast 23 years ago and worked in a busy small animal practice in Durham for 17 years, where he developed his small animal surgical work and gained a post graduate certificate in small animal surgery in 2015. After a few years covering emergency medicine and surgery cases in local referral practices he joined Robson and Prescotts’ Vet Hospital in 2017.
He enjoys a busy surgical caseload operating on more complex soft tissue surgeries and a large orthopaedic case load.
Hobbies include diving, rowing, photography and music.He has a busy family life with his wife and teenage son, a rescue Border Terrier and 3 cats.
