Samantha Thompson

Samantha graduated from The University of Liverpool in 2022 and has returned home to Newcastle to work as a mixed vet. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary work but particularly likes small animal surgery and equine orthopaedics. She has had horses most of her life before vet school and now likes to spend her free time walking in the hills with her dog and training with the Army Reserves. She likes to bring the outdoors inside and is a proud parent to many house plants. Having worked at a cinema all the way through University, Samantha is a big film fan and popcorn enthusiast, and also enjoys the theatre.

Samantha loves to travel, whether that be to see Ancient Egypt, swim with the pigs in the Bahamas or help with the conservation of rhinos, her all time favourite animal, in South Africa.
