After moving to the north-east, Laura joined Robson & Prescott in 1998 as a student nurse. She qualified in 2001 and then went on to complete a certificate in dentistry.
Having spent many years working with exotic species, Laura then went on to complete additional certificates in the nursing of birds, reptiles, amphibians, rabbits, rodents, British wildlife and zoo species, also winning the student of the year award for her efforts.
When she isn't at work, she loves exploring Northumberland with her three Collies, gardening and reading.
