Anna Peggram

Anna originally hailed from Edinburgh but opted to study veterinary at Glasgow graduating in 1982. After working in mixed practice in the UK and Australia she moved to Zimbabwe in 1990 then 1991 to Cape Town in South Africa for the next 30 years. She focused her attention on sports medicine and stud medicine in the TB industry. She also had her own TB stud farm where she successfully bred racehorses and rehabilitated racehorses off the track. Anna's daughter Tara successfully competed in all disciplines on her ponies and horses.

Anna moved away from the racing industry more in to the sports horse and enjoys investigating lameness, medical issues, wounds and stud medicine. A decision was made to sell up in South Africa in 2020 and after a short stint in Yorkshire, happily relocated to Northumberland to take over the position as clinical lead at Robson and Prescott in Feb 2021.
