Together with Gary Lewin, they form Veterinary Vision an ophthalmology referral service holding regular clinics for our small animal and equine clients at Whorral Bank.
Based in Cumbria they offer a second opinion service on conditions found during pre-purchase examinations, cataract, laser and corneal surgery together with cyclosporinn implants for the treatment of equine recurrent uveitis.
Based at Darlington, but with regular clinics and yard visits in the Morpeth area, treating both horses and riders.
Lee is highly qualified and extremely approachable, with a close working relationship with Robson and Prescott. In 2010 he was appointed to the position of 'Official Great Britian Team Physiotherapist' with the Equestrian Endurance Aquad, and in 2012 he was selected to be part of a small team providing physiotherapy for horses at the London Olympics.
Robson and Prescott have a close association with Derek, initially through his role of teaching at Liverpool Unviersity, where Sally studied. Their friendship has continued over the years and he has been extremely helpful and supportive, not only with advice about skin conditions but also with sarcoids for which he is internationally renowned.
He is involved with both Liverpool and Glasgow Universities and provides an invaluable referral service for more complicated and unusual equine medicine cases.
This association with robson and Prescott and in particular Sally has continued with her close involvement with some of his fundraising namely 'Horsepower CPD', raining money for overseas charities and also with their mutual work for the British Horse Society.
